The Kentucky Chapter of Concerns of Police Survivors was chartered in 2001.  Being a segment of the National Organization, we share the same mission statement to assist surviving families of law enforcement officers killed in the line of duty according to Federal criteria, rebuild their shattered lives.  Furthermore, we work to educate law enforcement on survivor victimization issues and educate the public on the need to support law enforcement and it's survivors.
We provide grassroots, local support for all survivors of law enforcement officers killed in the line of duty in Kentucky. We are a non profit, tax exempt 501©(3) organization.

Some of the benefits we offer include:
*Support for family and agency before, during and after a line of duty death funeral.
*Benefits assistance immediately following a line of duty death and years later, as needed
*reimbursement for travel to COPS Hands On Programs.
*Regular support meetings with topics including "Preparing for National Police Week" and Getting Through the      Holidays."
*Annual Family Gatherings twice a year, Summer Picnic and Holiday Reception
*Trial and Parole Support
*Informational Mailings/Newsletters
*Support cards
*One on one support for individuals, pairing up like survivors
*Education/training for law enforcement agencies and organizations
