Concerns of Police Survivors, Inc., also known as C.O.P.S., is a national non-profit organization organized in 1984 by 10 surviving spouses. The mission of C.O.P.S. is to assist in the rebuilding of the lives of survivors of law enforcement officers killed in the line of duty, according to Federal criteria. Furthermore, C.O.P.S. works to educate law enforcement on survivor victimization issues and educate the public on the need to support law enforcement and its survivors.

The Kentucky Chapter of Concerns of Police
Survivors was chartered in 2001. Being a segment of the National
Organization, we share the same mission statement to assist surviving
families of law enforcement officers killed in the line of duty according
to Federal criteria, rebuild their shattered lives. Furthermore, we work
to educate law enforcement on survivor victimization issues and educate
